There should implement Bug tracking for governments.
Everything that goes wrong, gets a ticket. Government representatives would be invited to participate.
There would be an ideal 3 party system. Citizens, report bugs to the tracking system. Admins, possibly from an NGO assigning bugs to the relevant part of government which the bug belongs to, and govt. representatives would de a proxy between actual govt. and the people.
And pigs might also fly!

What they don't tell you.
I have been battling lately, trying to install a lamp server on ubuntu. It is quite interesting, particularly, because packages keep on installing themselves badly. God knows why, but i've had to remove and reinstall packages more than once. The actual command is somewhat cryptic, a simple remove isn't enough.
apt-get remove --purge
will remove any conf files that aren't making anything work.
apt-get install --reinstall
will do pretty much nothing

Edgy Eft
I've only just finished updating my system to Edgy Eft, from Ubuntus previous release, Dapper Drake.
Whilst the updating process could really do some work, the overall feel and speed of the update is amazing.
My only gripes are the following:
1. The installing process, automatically installs kernel images -generic and -386, while i was previously using k7.
2. Nvidia support after the update is broken, at least in various cases including mine, as you can see in www.ubuntuforums.org. User tseliot's envy script does an amazing job to fix this
3. After installation, Amarok is usually broke. It is easily solved by enabling all repos and updating the system.

Ubuntu

well hello there
http://www.toothdemon.net/55words/
vale la pena
"Never show weakness," bellowed the lion-tamer. "They can smell it." The apprentice looked dubiously at the lions, particularly one grumpy-looking, scarred lioness. "What about moral weakness?" he asked. "I steal cable and drive an SUV. Also, I cheat on girlfriends." Quickly the lion-tamer raised his chair, catching the lioness in mid-pounce.
